Dear Parents, This week we managed to complete the following: Journeys: Lesson 4 Darnell's Neighborhood Grammar: Unit 2 – Articles/Nouns Creative Writing: My W.I.G.s Science: Unit 15 – Physical & Chemical Changes Math: Chapter 2 Fractions, Lesson 1 Novel Study: Lost & Found and The One and Only Ivan Today, students took another quiz covering Lesson 4 Spelling & Vocabulary and Grammar Unit 2. We also celebrated Teacher’s Day .

Dear Parents, This week we completed the following: Journeys Lesson 2: All the Books in the World Grammar Unit 2: Articles / Nouns (halfway) Science Unit 15: Physical & Chemical Changes (halfway) Math Ch. 1, Lesson 4: Problem Solving LIM Project: Habit #1 – Be Proactive Novels: Lost and Found , The One and Only Ivan Today, students took their third quiz (Lesson 3: Spelling & Vocabulary).   Dear parents, I will update the following link weekly so that students can review the theory from the  Math Book 6A  we are currently studying in class. This way, students will be able to understand the material more clearly, and if they still have questions, they can ask the next day. Dear Parents, My name is Mr. Sorvas, and it is my pleasure to teach your child this year. I am looking forward to a successful and fruitful year together. I moved to Taiwan in 2016 and now live in Taipei with my wife and our adorable daughter. This is my sixth year at Lih-Jen, and I have nine years of teaching experience.
