Week 2

 

Dear parents,

This week we worked on:

Journeys: Lesson 17 “The Great Wall of China.” We completed the activities in the book and practiced the vocabulary. Students also took a spelling – vocab – Genre quiz.

Grammar: We started Unit 10 “Present Perfect Simple”

Math: We did Ch. 6 L2: One Quantity as a Percentage of Another  

Science: We completed Unit 20: Energy Conversion.

Novels: “Out of my Mind” and “Matilda”

Literary Elements: Genre

Today we had the chance to review before the quiz differently than usual. 602A students brought their iPads and we used an integrated platform “Quizizz” to enhance the way we review before a test. Students had lots of fun and had the chance to compete live with their classmates.
