Week 12
This week we worked on: Spelling/Vocab Lesson 10 and students had the chance to practice the 10 words in the language handbook. Journeys : Students read the story “Good luck Aputik!” and answered the questions in the book. Grammar : We completed Unit 6 Past Simple / Past Progressive. Science : We reviewed Unit 16 Materials & their Properties Math : We reviewed Ch. 3 L3-5 English Exam on Wednesday, November 23rd; Math and Science Exams on Thursday, November 24th
Week 11
This week we worked on: Spelling/Vocab Lesson 9 and students had the chance to practice the 10 words in the language handbook. Journeys : Students read the story “The Forgotten Soldier” and answered the questions in the book. Grammar : We started Unit 5 Past Simple / Past Progressive. Science : We completed Unit 17: Changes of state. Math : Ch 4. L 2: Cylinders and Cones p98-99 all Novels : “Lost and Found” & “The One and Only Ivan”. Students took spelling, and vocabulary lesson 9 quizzes.
Week 10
This week we worked on: Spelling/Vocab Lesson 8 and students had the chance to practice the 10 words in the language handbook Journeys : Students read the story “A Prize to Dye for” and answered the questions in the book. Grammar : We completed Unit 5 Adjectives / Adverbs / Comparative - Superlative Science : We started Unit 17: Changes of state Math : Ch 4. L 1: Prisms and Pyramids p92-94 all Novels : “Lost and Found” & “The One and Only Ivan”. Creative Writing : Thanksgiving Letter Students took spelling, vocabulary lesson 8, and grammar unit 5 quizzes.
