  This week we worked on: Spelling/Vocab Lesson 7 and students had the chance to practice the 10 words in the language handbook Journeys : Students read the story “All Tied Up” and answered the questions in the book. Grammar : We started Unit 5 Adjectives / Adverbs / Comparative - Superlative Science : We completed Unit 16: Separating Mixtures Math : Ch 3. L 5: Mixed Operations on Decimals -   Ch 3. L 6: Problem Solving     p78 – 81 all, p. 83 Novels : “Lost and Found” & “The One and Only Ivan”. Creative Writing : LIM Project – Habit 2 Students took spelling, and vocabulary lesson 7 quizzes.

Grammar : We completed Unit 4 Object Pronouns / Personal Pronouns / Possessive Adjectives Science : We almost finished Unit 16: Separating Mixtures Math : Ch 3. L 4: Mixed Calculations with Fractions and Decimals        p72-76 all Novels : “Lost and Found” & “The One and Only Ivan”.  Creative Writing: ‘Girls vs. Boys   Students took spelling, vocabulary lessons 5 & 6, and grammar unit 4 quiz.

 

 This week we reviewed "Journeys, Grammar, Math and Science." On Thursday and Friday 10/6-7 students took the 1st English Exam.
