Week 1

Hi all,

This week we worked on:

Spelling/Voc Lesson 1 "Song for the whales" and students had the chance to practice the 10 words in the language handbook(definition, spelling, synonym, sentences).

Journeys: Students read the story “Song for the whales” and answered the questions in the book.

Grammar: We worked on the present tenses (Present Simple / Present Progressive). Apart from learning the theory, students practiced some online activities as well as  doing the book’s exercises.

Science: This week we started doing Unit 14 Materials and their Properties. We covered two parts of this unit: The relationship between the properties of materials and their uses / Factors that determine the choice of materials for specific objects.

Novels: “Lost and Found” & “The One and Only Ivan”.
