  This week we worked on: Spelling/Vocab Lesson 4 and students had the chance to practice the 10 words in the language handbook Journeys : Students read the story “Duffield Street” and answered the questions in the book. Grammar : We completed Unit 3 Adjectives of Quantity Science : We reviewed Unit 14 Math : Ch 3. L 2 Novels : “Lost and Found” & “The One and Only Ivan”.  Creative Writing: LIM Project Students took a spelling, vocabulary lesson 4 and grammar unit 3 quiz. English Exam October 6 th – Math & Science Exams October 7 th

Grammar : We completed Unit 2 Articles / Nouns. Science : We completed Unit 15 Math : Ch 3. L 1: Division by 2-digit Whole Numbers       Novels : “Lost and Found” & “The One and Only Ivan”.  Creative Writing: “My WIGs” Students took a spelling, vocabulary lesson 3 and grammar unit 2 quiz.

Grammar : We worked on Unit 2 Article / Nouns. Apart from learning the theory, students practiced some online activities as well as doing some of the book’s exercises. Science : We started Unit 15 Math : Ch. 2 Lesson 1 Division of Fractions by Fractions Novels : “Lost and Found” & “The One and Only Ivan”.  LIM : Habit 1 Science Recycling

  This week we worked on: Spelling/Vocab Lesson 1 Song for the whales and students had the chance to practice the 10 words in the language handbook Journeys : Students read the story “Song for the whales” and answered the questions in the book. Grammar : We worked on the present tenses (Present Simple / Present Progressive). Apart from learning the theory, students practiced some online activities as well as doing the book’s exercises. Science : Last week we started doing Unit 14 Materials and their Properties. We covered two parts of this unit: The relationship between the properties of materials and their uses / Factors that determine the choice of materials for specific objects. Math : Ch. 1 Lessons 1-2 Algebraic Equations – Problem Solving Novels : “Lost and Found” & “The One and Only Ivan”. 

Dear parents, It’s a great pleasure to teach your children this year. This first week we spent enough time orienting the students and making them feel comfortable. I also explained to them the fundamental aspects of grade 6. This week we started reading the novels and answering the questions from the language handbook. “ Lost and found ” and “ The One and Only Ivan ”. Journeys : We started Lesson 1 “ Song for the whales ”. Grammar : We began Unit 1 “ Present Simple & Present Progressive ”. Science : We started Unit 14 “ Materials & their properties ”.
