  Dear parents, This week we worked on: Journeys : We finished Lesson 3 “All the Books in the World.” Students were able to answer all the questions in the book. Grammar : We started Unit 2 (Articles / Nouns). Creative writing : - Science : - Math : This week we did Chapter 3 Lesson 1 Division by 2-digit Whole Numbers p. 47 (e, f, g, h), p. 48-50 all. Dear parents, This week we worked on: Journeys : We finished Lesson 2 “The great Basketball Game.” Students were able to answer all the questions in the book. Grammar : We finished Unit 1 (Present Simple / Present Progressive). Furthermore, the students completed all the exercises. Creative writing : This week’s topic is “ What is online learning and why do we have to do it? ” Science : This week we had more time to complete Unit 14: Materials & their properties. Moreover, students had the chance to review what we had done last week and did the self-check activity in the book. Math : This week we did chapter 2 Fractions Novels : “ Lost and Found ” We completed chapters 5 to 8 / “ The One and Only Ivan ” We did pages 43-64

  This week we worked on: Spelling/Vocab Lesson 1 Song for the whales and students had the chance to practice the 10 words in the language handbook Journeys: Students read the story “Song for the whales” and answered the questions in the book. Grammar: We worked on the present tenses (Present Simple / Present Progressive). Apart from learning the theory, students practiced some online activities as well as doing the book’s exercises. Science: This week we started doing Unit 14 Materials and their Properties. We covered two parts of this unit: The relationship between the properties of materials and their uses / Factors that determine the choice of materials for specific objects.  Dear parents, It’s a great pleasure to teach your children this year. This first week we spent enough time orienting the students and make them feel comfortable. I also explained to them the fundamental aspects of grade 6. This week we started reading the novels and answering the questions from the language handbook. “Lost and found” and “The One and Only Ivan”.
