Dear parents, This week grade 6 had the Midterm Exam for the Second Semester. On March 24 students took the English Exam and today March 26 they took the Math and Science exams.

Dear parents, This week we worked on: Journeys: Lesson 20 “THE Secrets of an Ancient Statue” Grammar: We completed unit 12 Present Perfect Progressive. Math – We completed Chapter 6. Science: We completed Unit 21 Light & Heat. Creative Writing: - Literary Elements: Author’s Purpose Students also took a quiz. It was about lesson 20 & Grammar – Spelling, Vocabulary, Present Perfect Simple, Past Simple & Present Perfect Progressive. I passed out the books to the students so they can review them on the weekend. Please have a look at if they corrected their mistakes and sign at the end of each unit.
Week 3
Dear parents, This week we worked on: Journeys: Lesson 18 “A Gift for Troy” Lesson 19 “Finding King Tut” Grammar: We completed unit 11 Present Perfect Simple / Past Simple / The verb used to Math – We did Chapter 6 L2 One Quantity as a Percentage of Another. Science: We completed Unit 20 Energy conversion. Creative Writing: - Literary Elements: Author’s point of view Students also took a quiz. It was about lessons 18 & 19 – Spelling, Vocabulary, Genre, and Subgenre.

Dear parents, This week we worked on: Journeys: Lesson 17 “The Great Wall” We completed the activities in the book and also practiced the vocabulary. Grammar: We started unit 11 Present Perfect Simple / Past Simple / The verb used to Math – We did Chapter 6 L2 One Quantity as a Percentage of Another. Science: We started Unit 20 Energy conversion. Creative Writing: This weeks topic was “ My WIGS “ Literary Elements: Genre lesson
