  Dear parents, This week we worked on: Journeys: Lesson 15 “The Lunar Module.” We completed the activities in the book and also practiced the vocabulary. Grammar: We reviewed Units 8 & 9 and students took two quizzes.    Creative Writing – This week’s project was to write a book report about the novels “Lost & Found” – “The One and Only Ivan” Science – We finished Unit 19 Gravitational and frictional forces. Grammar: Unit 9 “Reflective/Emphatic Pronouns – Which – One/Ones Math: We did from Ch 5. L 3: Problem Solving         p129-133 all     Creative Writing – This week’s project was to write what happens in each story “Lost and Found” – “The One and Only Ivan” Science – We did Unit 19 Gravitational and frictional forces

Students also took a spelling, vocabulary & grammar quiz (Lesson 13 & Unit 7) Grammar: Unit 8 “Relative Clauses / Relative Pronouns (who, which, that, whose) Math: We did from Ch 5. L 2: Ratio and Proportion      Creative Writing – This week we did a LIM project (LIM in Journeys) Science – We completed Unit 18 “Air & Water”

L 1: Ratio and Fraction        Creative Writing – This week’s project was “Christmas Journey Entry” Science – We did Unit 18 “Air & Water”

Grammar: Unit 7 “Prepositions of Time / Prepositions of Place / Prepositions of Movement. Math: We did from chapter 4 lesson 3 – Nets. We completed the exercises on p. 104-106 Creative Writing – This weeks project was “A letter to Santa Claus”
